GTG Tech was founded in 2016 with the intent of providing a solution to a pressing issue: closing the age gap in technological literacy. Our mission is to benefit our community and help older generations become more involved in today’s technologically-oriented society. GTG Tech holds one-on-one technology tutoring sessions once a month or more at local libraries and meets with various organizations to aid senior citizens. We aim to help with their technological concerns and teach ways to use their resources; from navigating their iPhones, to browsing the internet safely, basic texting, and more. As our organization continues to grow, we hope to share the gift of technology with as many people as we can. Through partnerships with like-minded organizations, GTG Tech hopes to spread the goodwill through greater Washington. So far, we are fortunate to have partnered with:
World Bank
International Monetary Fund
Docents from the Smithsonian
Sibley Senior Association
DC Commission on Aging Senior Initiative
East Rock Creek Village '
Chevy Chase at Home
